Social Preview Checker
When someone shares your site on social media, a preview card appears with your title, description, and image. A bad preview means fewer clicks. Check yours before it goes viral for the wrong reasons.

Frequently asked questions
What image size is best for social sharing?
1200×630 pixels is the recommended size for Open Graph images — it works across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and WhatsApp. Use PNG or JPG format under 1MB.
Why does my shared link show the wrong image?
Social platforms cache preview images. After fixing your OG image, use Facebook's Sharing Debugger or Twitter's Card Validator to clear the cache and force a refresh.
Do I need separate tags for Twitter/X and Facebook?
You need both og: tags (for Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp) and twitter: tags (for Twitter/X). They're separate tag sets, but Twitter/X falls back to OG tags if Twitter-specific tags are missing.
What happens if I have no OG tags?
Platforms will try to guess your title from the page <title> and pick a random image from the page. Results are unpredictable and often look broken. Always set explicit OG tags.
